PROJECT 1

This stone cottage had suffered years of neglect and at some point had been extended using concrete blocks. The new owner wanted to bring the building back to life and remove the original extension with one more in keeping and bring the old building back to a cared for family home.

OBCS Ltd were appointed to provide drawings and a specification to get the scheme through the planning process and achieve Building Regulation compliance. As the scheme was sited in a conservation area we also had to achieve a design the conservation officer was satisfied enhanced the surrounding area.

The dwelling is now complete and occupied and has vastly improved the street scene and brought a lovely dwelling back into use.
