Oakwood Building Consultancy Services Ltd offer a competitive, tailored design service to its clients from a Chartered Surveyors and full members of the Association of Architectural Technologists, with over 25 years experience in the Construction Industry. We know that undertaking a building project can be a stressful undertaking, at Oakwood we try and remove some of those worries. From the outset we will carry out a completely free, and no obligation visit to discuss the project and its feasibility.

 

At the meeting we can discuss the basic design, practicalities and costs. We will then issue an itemised quotation outlining the works involved, so the client knows from the outset that there are no hidden charges. We offer a cooling off period at this point for the client to decide if they would like to proceed with the works.

 

Once the client agrees to commence works, we will begin the design process, using the latest computerised design packages. This allows us to email draft drawings directly to you, for approval. This saves unnecessary meetings, disruption and time in agreeing the final design. This process also gives the client a more hands on approach to their design and in turn gives a better understanding of their project.  We encourage the client to get involved in the design process, ensuring an individual, bespoke build.

 

When the design has been agreed, a specification and the necessary paperwork will be produced, in order to submit either a Planning or Building Regulation application. Once approval is received we will provide the client with sufficient drawings and details to enable them to seek quotes from reputable builders. We will also be available throughout the duration of the building project to offer advice or assistance as required.
